Anti-Money Laundering (AML) & KYC Policy

Last updated: 2026

At SendEGP, the security of our platform and the integrity of the global financial system are our highest priorities. We are strictly committed to preventing our services from being used for money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, or any other illicit activities.

This page outlines our comprehensive Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) framework.

1. Commitment to Compliance

SendEGP strictly adheres to the guidelines set forth by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), international banking regulations, and the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE). We actively partner with global payment processors and regulatory bodies to ensure a safe, transparent, and legally compliant remittance environment.

2. Know Your Customer (KYC) Protocol

To prevent identity theft and financial fraud, SendEGP employs a mandatory, risk-based KYC verification process for all users before they can initiate transactions.

3. Transaction Monitoring & AI Fraud Detection

Our compliance does not stop at onboarding. SendEGP utilizes advanced, automated transaction monitoring systems to detect unusual or suspicious behavior in real-time.

4. Sanctions & PEP Screening

SendEGP routinely screens all senders and recipients against global watchlists, including OFAC, United Nations, European Union, and UK HM Treasury sanctions lists. We also conduct enhanced due diligence on Politically Exposed Persons.

5. Reporting Suspicious Activity

SendEGP operates under strict legal obligations to report suspicious activities to relevant national financial intelligence units. By law, SendEGP is prohibited from tipping off users that a report has been filed or an investigation is underway.

6. Employee Training & Audits

All SendEGP employees, especially customer support agents and compliance officers, undergo rigorous ongoing AML and fraud-prevention training. We also subject our platform to regular independent audits.

KYC Documentation

Depending on transaction volume and frequency, users may be required to provide proof of identity, proof of address, or source-of-funds documentation. SendEGP reserves the right to deny service or suspend accounts that fail identity verification checks.
